Does Coastal Networks offer 911 Services?
Well, Yes & No.
Coastal Networks will base 911 Services off of your SIP Trunk (Phone Number) Provider. If your SIP Trunking Provider allows it, upon your request (by default, it will be off), It can be turned on.
All External Calls are recorded within our system, using our PBX's in-system recorder, at no extra cost. Call Recording can be enabled for External and/or Internal Calls, at no extra cost.
If you would like 911 Services enabled on your existing (managed by us, or managed by you), or on a new system that you may be purchasing, please contact your Sales Rep.
If 911 Services are disabled on your system, the user attempting to dial 911 will hear this message:
"This is an important message from: Coastal Networks
Emergency Services (including 911 and 999) have been disabled by your System Administrator
For more information, please go to 911.coastalnetworks.org!
Thank you."
If you are connected to Emergency Services, please be prepared to say your name, age, phone number, address, and reason for the emergency call (if possible.)
